We have hired a new District Executive to take over Austin’s position. His name is Eric Escamilla and will be officially starting on Monday, August 17th. I can’t wait for you all to meet him, he is quite impressive and we think he’s going to do an amazing job for the scouting movement!

We have switched to using this site as the default for the district; a redirect has been placed on the old site to move all users to this one.
Accounts can be given on the "internal" features of the South Plains Council site for all volunteers active in leadership positions at the unit, Council or District level. We have made enough progress to be able to offer sites like this one to leadership in the other SPC districts as well, so if you know of others in the Quanah Parker, George White, Haynes or Comanche Trails districts who want to work on sites like this one using the new tools with the South Plains Council domain, please have them contact one of the administrators.
Web site posting control is still restricted to a few users, but all members with accounts on southplainscouncil.org can read their e-mail, create and share documents within the domain, create candidate web pages for posting and conduct a number of other activities with other membes of the domain. Contact Alan Sill, Dan Beatty or Travis Rubelee if you have questions.
